k = Gd⁴ / (8D³n)

Where:
- G = Shear modulus (79 GPa / 11.5 MSI for steel)
- d = Wire diameter
- D = Mean coil diameter
- n = Active coils

Spring Index C = D/d
Ideal range: 4-12
